The touchies are all about having fun and rocking out. The touchies play a fast paced 20/25 min sets of originals with a few uncommon cover songs. The touchies have been nominated for 3 San Diego Music Awards, played countless festivals, like SXSW, San Diego Music Things, Adams Ave. Street Fair etc. and have opened with a ton of bands including: The Muffs, The DollyRotts, Shonen Knife, The Regrettes, Peelander-Z, Naked Ray Gun, The Adolescents, The Dictators, Barbwire Dolls, CJ Ramone, The Avengers, Sonny Vincent, Go Betty Go, The Two Tens, Anger Flares, Tacocat, honeychain, etc. etc.

HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM THE TOUCHIES!!! At the end of 2016 the touchies hit a slight bump in the road. Literally. Bass player Mishey Touchie broke her leg so we will be taking a few months off til May 2017 so she can recover.

Every year the local rag, San Diego Citybeat puts out reviews of local band demos called, THE GREAT DEMO REVIEW. The reviews are usually pretty harsh, and I think some of the reviewers take it as an opportunity to work on their comedy routine. The touchies did not submit anything because we didn't have any demos we were working on. The city beat reviewed our album, MESS WITH THE UNICON...GET THE HORN. And although the touchies didnt have their first practice til march 2009, Oct 31st will always be the day the touchies were created!
